Oops! Bad blogger! Bad bad blogger!

There has been so much happening I totally forgot I even had a blog until a couple of weeks ago!

And there has been so much happening with the Craft and Scrap site, that I couldnt possibly write all about it in one session.

So, I'll post a little every day or so, until we're all caught up. :)

Firstly, let me tell you all about our new buy / sell/ trade section. We call it the "Classifieds".

Basically, because we are a community oriented site, why not sell your unwanted goods within our community, or look for items you need? You can even swap items with other Craft and Scrap members!

And best of all, it's FEE FREE! So, theres no fees for placing an ad, and we dont take any of your money for selling or buying your item! You can add a couple of pictures, and include the post costs and description, and upload to a variety of categories.

And as an added bonus, you will earn reward points for using this section!

Look for Classifieds under "Community" in the top menu.

Lusi Austin RAK

You all know what a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) is, right?

Here is Nic Howards gorgeous layout at Aussie Scrapjacked for April.


And my take on it...





Things to note:

I made the scalloped heart border by tracing the outline of some pp from Making Memories, and then punched the hearts.

The chipboard swirls were left raw and then covered with a "Black Scroll" acetate.

The flowers were originally maroon, but I roughly painted them pink and added the centres.

would you like to be a guest teacher here at craft and scrap and receive a craft gift pack for your time and efforts?

we are looking for guest teachers to write up a clear and complete tutorial / step-by-step for a craft project that you think others would like to learn. It can be sent to us in any format, but must include pictures of the project, including of the steps along the way. Your "class" does not have to be scrapbooking related; it can be kids craft, folk art, jewellery making etc.

Like most LO's, this one looks better IRL, as I have used Dimensional Magic on the pp and stars too, and there is some depth with the chipboard.
